Queen Elizabeth I from the Elizabethan Era has probably the most extravagant dresses of all the queens. This was the era of the Ruff, which the clothing was embellished with starch and lace. Ruffs were made so wide that they often interfered with eating. This is the most difficult queen dress to emulate, because of the layers and layers of clothing required to dress like this queen.
